Originally from way up North, we are currently
stationed in beautiful North Carolina, where
my husband Jason is an active duty Marine. In
Feb, 2006 he returned from his second
deployment to Iraq and it goes without saying
we are all happy to have him home! Jason is a
skilled craftsman and enjoys spending most of
his free time in his shop creating beautiful
wood pieces & letting sparks fly with his welder.
In whats left of his spare time he enjoys fishing
and always has a fish tale to tell!!
I grew up in a family where crafting was like
breathing and as a child spent hours in my
grandmothers ceramic shop which sparked my
love for clay. I have dabbled in other mediums
over the years but have always come back to my
roots!! While trying to pass the time during long
deployments and with a need to help people
show their support for all of our troops, our
business sprang from a rainy evening with to
much time on my hands and a lump of polymer
clay.
The first Mustard Seed Pin was created as a
way for me to show the world how proud I was
of my husband. I wore him pinned over my heart
like a badge of courage with a tiny Mustard
Seed tucked in his cover to serve as a constant
reminder to myself that I only needed to find a
tiny bit of faith to make it through each day.

We have come a long way since that first pin
and with so many talented family members
contributing their works our product line
continues to expand as our imaginations and
creativity soar!!
